The Coppice Apartment is a dog-friendly, self-contained detached apartment with double (optional twin) room, open plan lounge-kitchen-diner and bathroom with double shower. Can sleep up to four people with prior notice with an extra two good quality Z beds. Available on a self catering basis. Towels and linen are provided.One well behaved dog is very welcome at an extra cost of £10.00 per length of stay.Set on the edge of Dartmoor in a quiet countryside location, one mile from Bovey Tracey, 200 metres from a Country House Hotel with lovely bar and restaurant. Haytor Rock 2 miles , coast 10 miles. Use the well equipped kitchen to make a heartwarming breakfast, tie on the walking boots and get exploring the beautiful countryside of Devon and Dartmoor. Stop off in a quintessential Devon pub for a real ale and a pub lunch.You will have the flexibility of self catering whilst just 200 meters away there is a lovely country house hotel with a well stocked bar with a selection of hand pulled real ales and a beautiful restaurant should you like an evening out with no driving . We are just one mile from the town of Bovey Tracey with many pubs , an indian restaurant and chinese takeaway.Outside the front door the Dartmoor National park begins with beautiful countryside and walks.

Directions

We are a self catering apartment on the edge of Dartmoor . We are situated between Plymouth and Exeter just off the A38 . At the Newton Abbot turn off follow signs to Bovey Tracey . Go straight across first mini roundabout and when you arrive at the next roundabout take the first exit towards Haytor. After just a few hundred metres fork left to Haytor. In just a few hundred metres you will see the Edgemoor hotel on your right. Turn right here into Lowerdown and Coppice is situated 200 metres on the right.
